WATER AEROBICS While similar to land aerobics, in that it focuses on cardiac training, water aerobics differs in that it adds the component of water resistance and buoyancy. Although heart rate does not increase as much as in land-based aerobics, the heart is working just as hard and underwater exercise actually pumps more blood to the heart. Exercising in the water is not only aerobic, but also strength-training oriented due to the water resistance. Moving your body through the water creates a resistance that will activate muscle groups. Hydro aerobics is a form of an aerobic exercise that requires water-immersed participants. ALL LEVELS

HATHA & GENTLE YOGA Focuses on combining deep breathing and movements that enables you to build strength, flexibility, and endurance.


VINYASA YOGA Connecting movement and breathing, and active more physical type of yoga incorporating sun salutations and holding postures. INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED


CARDIO SCULPT Combines hand weights with simple but strong moves. Upper and lower body strength training with an extra cardo kick! ALL LEVELS

BODY PUMP Increases the strength of your muscles with high reps and continuous lifting. The fastest way to get in shape! ALL LEVELS

BODY STEP Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is at the heart of BODYSTEP™ - a full-body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs.


CHAIR YOGA Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chairfor support. It is beneficial for people with limited mobility and for those who want to practice yoga at their own pace.

CYCLING A guided indoor cycling experience to achieve the ultimate in cardiovascular and strength development. ALL LEVELS


CORE Core exercises include movements that activate a group of muscles called the core. These muscles work as a group to help stabilize and control the spine. Coreexercise are exercises that focus on either the stabilzation, endurance or strengthening of the core muscles.


ZUMBA One of the fastest growing, dance based fitness crazes in the country where poeple of all ages are failing in love with Zubma's infectious music, easy to follow dance choreography and body beatifying benefits! ALL LEVELS

SMASH HiiT (High Intensity Interval Training) Ready for a challenge? High Intensity Interval Training (HiiT for short) is the fastest way to burn fat and get the lean and ripped look that will make your friends want to know your secret! In Smash HiiT, you will give all-out, one-hundred perfect effort through quick, intense bursts if exercises, followed by short active recovery periods. HiiT workouts build cardiovascular fitness while improving strength, building lean muscles and maximizing calorie burn during and after the workout.

BOOTY BARRE Combines elements of Yoga, Pilates, dance and Cardio to create a highly effective and fun workout, specifically designed for time-crunched individuals to strengthen and tone the entire body.

TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING This revolutionary, total-body fitness program was develpied by the Navy seals and uses gravity against an individual's own body weight. this type of training simultaneously develpos strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. ALL LEVELS


ViPR The ViPR (an acronym for Strength, Performance, and Reconditioning) is weighted rubber tube with integrated handles designed to be carried, ragged, thrown, rolled, stepped on and flipped. It alllows for freesom of movement that most other strength training tools don't, and it bridges the gap between strength, agility and movement like never before! ViPR training is intense, so your body will react accordingly. If done on a regular basis you'll notice a change in the shape of your body. However, more importantly, you'll notice a change in the way your entire framework functions to make everyday tasks easier and more efficient. ALL LEVELS

ABSESSION MAT PILATES This non-impact calss involves a series of over 100 exercises using your own body weight for resistance. These exercises assist in improving overall strength, flexibility, and are integral part of developing a long and lean Pilates body!


FIT MOM & KIDS Fun, supportive & motivating group exercise class. Combat the baby blus, bond with your baby, lose baby weight. Pre & Post Natal moms with infants, babies, toddles and preschoolers welcome.


30:30 30 Minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of strength/toning.


BALANCE / STRENGTH Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activites


STRENGTH A whole body muscle-toning class utilizing an assortment of tools (e.g., balls, free weights, body bar, resistance bands). You will gain muscle strength, help to protect your bones, improve your range of motion/flexibility, and improve balance. ALL LEVELS


STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. The original STRONG by Zumba® class is a demanding session that works your entire body.


ZUMBA GOLD Active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba®class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. The design of the class introduces easy-to­ followZumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.


BUTTS & GUTS A class dedicated to toning of your abs and glutes with targeted movements and cardio. Classes will focus on core strengthening to build muscles, in addition, it'll also target your quads and hamstrings.

The Abington Club is one of the most renowned fitness centers in the Abington and Jenkintown, PA areas. 

We offer state-of-the-art equipment including cardio machines, two full resistance training circuits, free weights and plenty of auxiliary equipment for a total body workout. We also have an indoor heated pool where members enjoy swimming laps, doing water aerobics classes or simply relaxing in the jacuzzi. (The jacuzzi is closed for the time being due to COVID-19)
