Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Camp
What Are Mini Camp Hours?
Mini camp runs from 8:30 AM to 3:00PM. You may dropoff your child between 8:30 AM and 8:45 AM and pick-up between 2:50 and 3:05. As of now, we do not offer before or aftercare. If enrollment increases and there is a request, we will consider offering this service in the future.
What Are Mini Camp Activities?
Mini camp activities include sports, arts and crafts, fitness, swimming and more!
Do You Provide Lunch?
We provide children with lunch during mini camp. They have their choice of a hotdog, hamburger, cheeseburger, chicken fingers and a garden salad. All lunches are served with fruit and a drink.
What Should I Pack for My Child?
Your child should arrive wearing comfortable clothes and sneakers. Campers can go swimming in the indoor pool so please pack a swimsuit, towel, flip flops and floatation device if needed. If your child has accidents, please provide an extra set of clothing.
Does the Abington Club Mini Camp Conduct Background Checks for Staff Members?
Our staff is cleared through a national criminal and child abuse clearance. Counselors and specialists are also required to have CPR/First Aid certification.
Is There a Minimum Amount of Campers Required to Hold the Class?
There must be a minimum of ten children registered to provide mini camp for that day. Parents will be notified one week prior if camp is cancelled.
What is the Federal Tax-ID Number for Childcare Tax Credit Reimbursement?
The Abington Club Kids Camp Federal Tax ID is 232141514. A detailed receipt is available upon request.
